North

The North is the most frequented region of Mauritius. Grand Baie and its surroundings are very lively, day and night, and have the advantage of having nearby all the amenities and all the shops and services! Discover the beautiful beaches of Pereybere, Trou aux Biches, Mont Choisy and Bain Boeuf, the nightlife with a multitude of restaurants and bars, the shopping malls of La Croisette and Mont Choisy, schools, clinics, as well as the many water sports and golf. As you can see, the North is the most dynamic region of Mauritius.

Pointe aux Canonniers is the posh neighborhood of the north, very peaceful and close to Grand Bay. You will find many modern houses, for sale and for rent, ideally located. Pointe aux Canonniers is very quiet, and only a few minutes from the center of Grand Baie, but also Mont Choisy.

Mont Choisy is now a city in full transformation with the development of real estate projects around the new 18-hole golf course. A Smart City is currently under construction, and will see the birth within it of many infrastructures: shops, school, clinic, sports infrastructure, parks, etc.

Pereybere, located just after Grand Baie, is a village renowned for its public beach and its numerous beachfront houses. You will also find many beautiful villas in secure residences close to all amenities.

Cap Malheureux, known for its small church with a red roof, is a haven of peace located about ten minutes from shops and restaurants. You will find the local charm, but also sumptuous seaside villas with a heavenly view of the Coin de Mire, sublime mountain located in the middle of the Ocean.

Calodyne, with its beautiful house with spacious gardens, gives you the impression of being in the countryside while remaining about fifteen minutes from the center of Grand Baie.

Finally, Grand Gaube, a very authentic fishing village, is located about 20 minutes from Grand Baie, and is home to many beachfront villas, but also beautiful hotels.

All along the North Coast, you will find a sublime lagoon and beautiful beaches, but also the possibility to practice many water sports. Anse la Raie is a famous kitesurf spot in Mauritius, located between Cap Malheureux and Calodyne. You will also find many diving spots, or the possibility of doing big fishing.

Numerous real estate developments accessible to a non-Mauritian clientele have been constructed for many years. Thus, many expatriates are settled in the North, and many communities have formed there, while remaining extremely cosmopolitan and multicultural. The North has also seen the birth of many local real estate projects for a Mauritian clientele.

The North continues to grow, with many roads, infrastructures, schools and clinics emerging. In addition, many investors and entrepreneurs decide to locate their headquarters there. Finally, it is an extremely well-served region, with the highway that goes up to Grand Baie, but also the Chemin Vingt Pieds that runs parallel to the costal road, and that serves each city.
